B.H. Hello Uncle Jess. I am glad you have come to help me practice today.
J.H. It’s the least I can do for you, Brian. It is quite cool I think to be able to get through to someone who’s alive on Earth. Of course, we can go to a regular medium and try to give them impressions, but this way we can have our thoughts portrayed more precisely and with greater length, even through an imperfect channel such as yourself – improving but imperfect.
B.H. Thank you. I do hope to become better.
J.H. So do I and so AM I. We are both struggling to improve you and I. I am making some headway here but I am also happy where I am. I have a nice house, cottage really, and a nice life. Coming to help you is a pleasant addition to a pleasant life. You will like it here indeed.
B.H. I do look forward to it, Uncle Jess.
J.H. Well, there’s no hurry, I guess. I suppose God has business for you there yet. No point in rushing his plans. You will get here when you get here. I am certainly happy I got here when I did. When I see how wonderful it is I kind of wish I had come sooner. I did, however, enjoy my time in Florida with the birding, the bowling and doing things with your Dad. You know what it’s like living alone though. Drinking helps to make the time less boring. I just got too attached to doing it and became unhealthy because of it. Hence my exit from there and my entrance to here. Longer story short I am happy now and that is all that matters. I go around and visit some of the important people in my life but most of my time is spent at home reading, enjoying the garden, socializing with family and friends and walking in the fields and woods.
B.H. Do you draw or paint or sculpt or carve? Any of those things you did when you were on Earth?
J.H. Yes, I have continued with the painting and drawing. I have really improved over here. You will enjoy the work when you get here. I draw the garden and nature, birds, and people too. I see your daughter is quite the artist she is really into a lot of creative stuff. She will be quite successful I think when her time is focused on one endeavor.
B.H. Well, good luck Uncle Jess. I hope things continue to go well for you and thank you for coming to help me.
J.H. It is nothing, Brian. A little something interesting added to my “day”. I enjoy the interaction and can’t wait until you improve even further than you have. You’re coming along and practice makes perfect, you know. Even here you have to practice art to become better at it. Of course, we have fewer things getting in the way of our talents here having to do with physical bodies but we still must practice. If things were given to us right away life would be boring. Keep it up, nephew.
