BH: I am going to try writing today as I have had a trance session which I didn't really perform well in in terms of rapport. Let's see how we do with Mary Kennedy in the writing format today.
MK: Hi Brian, yes, I agree that your rapport was weak. Some of what you brought through was factual but you clearly need to practice your trance work. Don't lose faith in your ability to communicate with us. So, let's cover what we covered in the trance message and see if you can click with me a little better. So, we were talking about the human body and the spiritual body and the similarities between the two. As I said, the body in spirit is a representation of the mortal body. The spirit body has been formed by association with the mortal body over a period of time. The spirit body retains the shape it has attained through its association with the mortal body when the spirit enters the spirit world. The spirit has control over some aspects of the presentation of their spirit body depending on where that spirit resides be it in the lowest spheres or the higher spheres. In the lower spheres, the spirit will have less control over their appearance than spirits in the higher spheres have. Visually spirits will look much as they have on Earth when they reside in the lowest spheres and may look worse if their souls lack love or are filled with hate, anger or sin. Spirits who live in higher spheres will look more pleasing and will also be able to present themselves as they wish to appear, for instance with longer more full heads of hair, perfected teeth, working limbs, etc. How we look as human beings is wrapped up in what people think is a common human. That is why things which you may not regard as being functional in the spirit world continue on in the spirit world as part of the spirit body. Teeth may not be necessary as a spirit but we are known by our visages which is graced by teeth and so these are part of our spirit life. The same with the tongue, the physical ears, the sexual organs and the limbs. There is no functionality to the sexual organs though they are there for our comfort in the lower spheres. BH: I have lost my rapport with you, Mary.
MK: I see that, Brian. Perhaps we can move on. If not, there is no problem. I will try to continue. When you get to the Celestial spheres you have full control over how you are presented in any situation. It is similar to how people create an avatar in your computer games which may look like any kind of human or animal as desired by the player. Most of us choose to represent ourselves as how we looked when human to a great extent, especially depending on the situation. For instance, if Jesus wanted to show himself to spirits or humans, he would want to show himself as he is known to have looked throughout history and as he looked when alive. But for instance, right now I have no need to show myself as any kind of form right now while we are chatting and so I have the form, I am in the form of an orb, a concentrated area of energy.
BH: I see, Mary. This all makes sense to me. Thank you for helping to answer this question for me.
