June 29, 2018 

It has been a month since I have practiced mediumistic writing and I would like to try again. I have asked Mary Kennedy to help me with this session. 

B.H. Hi Mary. I know it has been a little while since I have done this. I sort of lost faith in whether it could be done, by me, despite the fact that I rely on books in which it is used.  

M.K. Hi Brian. Your absence has been felt and your reasoning is understandable. You feel that you are not receiving anything in these communications that you could not have thought of yourself. This is a problem with this kind of writing and with mediumship in general. The medium needs to learn to discern between what is their thought and what is coming from spirit. We can instill in your mind our ideas and thoughts but they may not be wildly outside of your own normal thinking. 

B.H. This sounds like prevarication to me, like an excuse for the lack of new and original ideas that would naturally come from outside of me. Mr. Padgett, Mr. Reid, and H all seemed to bring very different ideas into the world from spirit.  

M.K. These people were quite practiced, Brian. You can’t expect to build Rome in a day. You need more practice, as we have said, you need better rapport with spirit, you need more Divine Love and you need to come from a place of much less internal turmoil. You are frankly not, right now, an optimal candidate for mediumship of this sort. You can be though, but let’s say you need some work. I think you know that this is true. 

B.H. Yes, Mary. Thank you. I know I am not the best possible candidate for this. But I really do desire to be a medium and to do mediumistic writing if it will be beneficial to the world in any way. But at the very least the regular mediumship and healing if not the writing as well. 

M.K. Well, you know what you need to do, we don’t need to keep belaboring the same points over and over. Any improvements you make in your soul condition will benefit you and your desires and benefit everyone else in some way. God may not use the improved you in the ways that you envision now (or he may indeed) but He will, or I should say you will find some way to be beneficial as you move forward and it may or may not be mediumship. We are pulling for you because even though you stray somewhat, you are on the Divine Love path and that is the Golden Way for us here in the Celestial Heavens. We will go out of our way in any fashion for someone on that path, to more firmly set them on their way, to help and to bolster them in any way. You are on the Path and we are all around it like a guardrail trying to keep you walking straight. It is wonderful, is it not? 

B.H. Bless you and anyone else who is giving me the gift of help from your side, Mary. I appreciate it so much. 

M.K. It is nothing and a gift to us to do it I assure you. How our hearts have joy in them when we see the progress made here and there amongst some of you there on your little blue planet. There is hope. I am going to run along now, Brian. It has been a gift to talk to you today. Be patient with yourself. You can’t expect to be a Master at something after only a little time and effort. You want more communications with evidence of knowledge that you could not yourself produce then you definitely need to put in the effort to get there. Bless you and stay on our bright and beautiful Path. The scenery will ever get better and more beautiful. You will see. Bye, Brian.
