B.H. I had wanted to address a specific issue about spirit life and Francis Bacon has been presented as the person who would like to help me cover the topic today. Hello, Mr. Bacon. Thank you for offering to help me today. I appreciate it very much.
F.B. It is my pleasure, Brian. You may call me Francis if you like.
B.H. Thank you, Francis. I had a specific question regarding spirit life that I am hoping you can answer for me. I have been reading some science text this week and it has reminded me that living organisms on Earth get their energy from eating plants or animals and plants get that energy from the sun. So, the energy needed for all processes comes from outside the organism. I was wondering if spirit bodies have similar requirements for taking in energy to sustain their processes and existence that corporeal bodies do.
F.B. This is a great question, Brian. Spirit bodies are progressively lighter as you move through the spheres and everything that exists in the universe is energy. Heavier bodies, like those on Earth must get their energy from material sources in the case of animals for instance. Even plants must use material sources to convert the energy of the sun into the material food that they need to survive. So, this is clear for corporeal living things on Earth, right? Well, as I said, in the spirit world bodies are heavier in the lower spheres of the spirit world but even so they are much more ethereal than bodies on Earth. Let me just say that generally spirits in the spirit world take their energy from what you would call the quantum field. Since we are mostly energy in the spirit world we can take our energy directly from energy whereas on Earth that is generally not possible. Material forms are necessary in the way of supplying energy to living creatures there. Spirit bodies are sustained here automatically from what used to be called the universal etheric field. This is known on Earth these days as the quantum energy field. A local spot in the universe is pregnant with access to the complete energy of the universe and spirit bodies and all of the spirit world is supplied by this infinite energy. Not many people even here understand this and how it works but I of course make this sort of knowledge a requirement for me to know and learn.
B.H. You had mentioned that spirits in lower spheres are heavier, though still ethereal. Do they require more material sustenance than lighter spirits in higher spheres?
F.B. Their ethereal bodies do not require sustenance from their surroundings as people on Earth do, but they may take food from their environment and eat it, but you have to remember that that food is also more etheric just as they are, the food doesn’t benefit them in any way above and beyond the self sustenation of their spirit body. It is merely ritual or habit or tradition which causes someone to eat or drink something in the spirit world. It doesn’t help to sustain life processes here. As one gets further from the Earth and from the mortal life that they lived, the need for the activity of ingesting something for energy or for the sake of remembering what it is like to eat dissipates and that activity is not included in spirit life in any way. God is the source of all energy. Atoms, protons and quanta may deliver energy in the scientifically explainable way but this is just the substrate created by God to deliver energy throughout the universe. Is this answer sufficient in answering your question, Brian?
